The 12 volt Supershear is designed for ease of use and mobility. The lightest of the three Supershears it can be loaded and unloaded by a single individual. The hydraulic unit is mounted on a 2 wheel cart with 10 inch pneumatic tires. Powered via a 12 volt deep cycle battery the shear will cut approximately 100-150 cuts before a recharge. Most of our customer that purchase the 12 volt process 20-100 cars a week which makes this an excellent choice for a small recycling yard. All three Supershear models are shipped with 23 feet of braided hydraulic hose connected to the patented Supershear Cutting head. A two-button switch handle located below the head controls the cutting motion and facilitates a one man operation.
